Stirrup Leathers & Stirrup Keepers
Stirrup Leathers and Keepers $90
Black or Brown Biothane Stirrup Leathers. Strong, sturdy, slim, and easy to clean. Available in a variety of lengths and custom sizes.
Stirrup Keepers are available in a range of leathers & colours to compliment your saddle. Stirrup Keepers velcro around by the bottom of your stirrup leathers to neatly tuck away any loose stirrup leather ends. Lends a neat and polished look to the saddle.
Single Strap Fenders

A Single strap western style fender which can be made for english stirrups or Western. It allows the rider to choose between either of the Ghost stirrup ring positions. Can be made for 1" english stirrup top bar or a 2", 2.5", or 3" top bar for endurance or western stirrups.

Slide on & Western Fenders
Slide on Fenders $150
An english slip-on fender that slides over stirrup leathers. The Ghost stirrup leathers are recommended because they are thinner than most standard leathers.
Western Fenders $300
For those who would like a little more stability for their lower leg, the 2-strap western fender uses both stirrup ring and can be ordered for a 2.5" or 3" top bar. Done in your choice of leather, with decorative stitching and tooling.

Girths & Girth Strap Protectors
Ghost Westip Girth $120
For those who have heard of Westip girths, which are popular in Europe, Ghost has teamed with Westip to make a custom elastic webbing with the Italian flag colors. The entire length is slightly elastic for comfortable grip to the horse. Great help if saddles slip front-back or side-side on your horse. These girths are also very thin, so if your horse is smaller or the saddle is likely to put the girth into the armpits of your horse, the Ghost Westip is a great choice.
We usually stock 60, 70 and 80cm girths, but custom length is available by request and can be ordered in 5cm increments.
To select the right size, we measure to about 1 -2 hands width above your horses elbows, or a few inches below where the pad/saddle ends. We want the girth to be long enough, nothing worse then having the horses elbows pinched by buckles.

Base Panels $210 +
Ghost Saddles usually come standard with the Italy style panels shown along the top row, these are our thicker, firmest, best pressure distributing panels, and are a closed panel with a neat and tidy look.
The base panels are comprised of a top layer of thin formo (a stiff white/grey material) then a layer of 2 cm or 2.5 cm blue foam with excellent weight distribution and response-time properties (which remain at all operation temps) and 1 - 2 layers of a softer, shape-forming black foam. This combination gives the best pressure distribution and is recommended for all riders, especially heavier riders, or those doing endurance.
The thickest panels have 2 layers of the soft foam and are recommended for riders over 82kg or those over 75kg competing in endurance.
There is also the option of an opening panel, for those who may like to shim the panel. However Ghost now offers stand alone shims in a pocket which work brilliantly (which go between the panel and the base, eliminating the need to fiddle with panels)
For those who have older Ghost saddles or who have purchased saddles second hand, upgrading to the latest panels with new foams can be an excellent idea.
If you have some older panels you would like to reinforce, we can supply a layer of the stiff 'formo' which you can slide inside the top of your existing panel foams, to provide better weight distribution.
