Demo Saddles
We offer demo GHOST Saddles, set up usually as Quevis models in sizes 1 & 2 (piccolo and standard) The demo saddles come with everything you need to ride - Treeless pad, Girth, Stirrup Leathers, Stirrups, and accessories (such as front riser, stirrup keepers etc) We may also have other seats you can try, so do ask, we usually stick to the short flap Quevis (also our most popular) as they fit in a smaller box and save on courier costs.
We can also offer demos for the bareback pads, but please contact us to discuss this.
We often have a range of Edix demo saddles too, or can order what you want to demo.
A security deposit of 50% of saddle package is always required, which then either becomes the deposit for your new saddle, or is reimbursed upon safe return of the saddle.
If you have any questions please get in touch either via email, our contact form, or facebook!
Saddle Demos are for around 14 days, and due to wear and tear on our saddles and gear, we have a demo fee of $60 (if a saddle is purchase then no fee)
Terms of Trial:
1) A 50% security deposit is taken. These funds will be held as security against the saddle until it is returned, with nil damage. Normal wear is expected.
2) You are responsible for the saddle until it is returned safely. You are liable for postage both ways. It is important that you assume full responsibility for the saddles condition & safe keeping during the trial period. Experience has shown that damage to saddles usually occurs when they are transported in a car. If you do need to transport the demo saddle, please do so using the box it came to you in.
3) The length of the trial is 14 days from when you receive it. Longer times can be arranged :-)
4) Delivery charges are dependent on location. I will deduct the postage and demo fee from your refund once the demo saddle has been returned as per conditions stipulated above. If you decide to keep the demo then postage is free and naturally, the demo fee is not charged. (yes we offer a discount if you want to purchase the demo saddle and it has been used!)
5) Saddles and all accessories, must be returned in the same condition as they were received: clean and hair free. If the saddle or accessories are returned with excessive wear and tear including scratches and dents to the leather or excessive marking on girth straps or flaps and/or stirrups, a portion of your security deposit will be retained to cover this damage. If the saddle and/or accessories are returned dirty, a cleaning fee of $25 will be deducted from your refund. Please do not wear dark denim jeans when riding in any of our demo saddles.
If the saddle is out on a demo already, you will be placed next in line.

Please make sure your horse is on level ground and standing square with good lighting, head in a natural/neutral riding position
Please make sure your horse is on level ground and standing square with good lighting, head in a natural/neutral riding position
- Take a whole body photo (both sides)
- Then a closer photo of their shoulder/wither area (both sides)
- Then a photo from behind (shooting from the rump area towards the withers) while slightly birds eye (you may need to stand on a stool!) to show the back/shoulder/wither area - this is important - feel free to send us a few photos!
- Remember we need a clear photo showing the wither/shoulder area from above to determine the best pommel option
