Edix ED1 Chin Cross Bridles
Performance of the EDIX ED1, chin-cross bridle, the moment you put pressure on the reins, the pressure is only provided on the lower jaw, just behind the chin and slightly pressure on the nose of the horse. By asking the right or left rein, pressure comes on the opposite side of the horse's head and due the other side is without this pressure, combined with your sit aids, your horse will bend in the requested direction.
When pressure is placed on both sides, the noseband closes, and the pressure only comes around the nose of the horse.
Due the shape of the cross-under straps, you will have a good release the moment you take of the pressure of your reins, allowing the noseband to open.
This beautiful new designed headpiece and all other refined positioned straps is making the EDIX ED1 cross-under bridle extremely stable around the head and has no tendency to turn or slide

Edix ED2 Side Pull Bridles
The EDIX ED2 is a side-pull bridle, where both reins are attached to the rings on either side of the hors's muzzle. The bridle works with a direct release of any pressure given by the rider through the reins. The moment you pull on both of the reins or more refined put light pressure with both hands on the reins, this pressure is provided on the nose of the horse. When you release this pressure on the reins, the pressure is immediately gone from the nose, which is called a direct release. This is a very clear signal and most horses, young horses but also horses used to a bit, do very well in a side pull bridle. By asking the right rein, the bridle will come slightly lose from the cheek and the opposite side, left side of the bridle, will push against the left cheek, combined with your sit aids, your horse will bend in the requested direction. The nosepart is wide and softly padded, so the impact on your horses nose is limited and softly.
The side pull fits like a regular bridle. The nosepiece of the bridle should fit about four fingers from the top of your horse's mouth. You'll want it high enough that it doesn't sit on the cartilage of the nose, or on the ends of the nose bones themselves. The higher it is placed, the milder the action. The chin strap should be done up, but see that the horse can still open its mouth comfortably, but not to loose, otherwise the bridle will start dangling and will your clues not come in clear.
