The price is for the headstall, the bosal and reins need to be bought separately.
If you want to use this bridle with a bit, you have to use a chinstrap. This is not included with this bridle, but can be bought separately.
EDIX Chara bosal $160
is made of real rawhide leather onto a rawhide core. The nose piece is braided with 32 strings and for the rest of the bosal 28 strings are used. This makes the nosepart more soft. We offer the EDIX Chara bosal in 2 colors, black-brown, Brown-natural and they are available in 3 sizes, pony, cob and full
EDIX Alano bosal $130
Made of a steel wire core and soft materials. The outside is made of a braided PP rope and there is a stainless ring to connect your leather reins with snaps. This bosal is a variation on the classical EDIX Chara bosal. Also different to a classical rawhide bosal is the side straps are placed more away from the eyes and therefore not crossing nerves and blood vessels. When used with light pressure on the reins the bosal has a very friendly way of communication by pressure on the nose and having a 100% release.
The EDIX Alano bosal is of the Mix & Match collection of EDIX and therefore perfectly matching the EDIX codreao’s and or saddle pads.
The Alano is available in 3 sizes Pony, Con and Full and 4 colors navy, burgundy, brown and black.
EDIX Mecate $180
Superior quality professional mecate, the 5/8” mecate has a 6 strand twist around a horsehair core and is 22 feet long. The mecate feels firm but still offers a soft and refined hand. Horsehair is often very pungent, it is therefore customary to use with riding gloves. Horses respond to the feel of the horse hair on their neck way better than to many other materials. It is with this quality of the mecate, you can give very clear and subtle neck reining signals to your horse due the spiky hairs sticking out of the mecate. The traditional materials and patterns also look exceptionally good on our horses.
Depending the size and shape of your horse you have to vary the number of wraps of the mecate onto the bosal, to fit your horse. Below pictures will show how to correctly wrap the mecate to the bosal.
The EDIX Calf/Horse hair is available in natural-brown and natural-black, 670cm long and finished with a leather string in matching color with EDIX ED3 Western bridle

Lovely soft supple leather reins with clips to attach your bridle featuring the Rose collection tooling.
Available in Black, Brown, Cognac and Natural to match any of the Rose collection bridles.
