The EDIX® Tudor Icelandic is made from soft Turkish leather and is made up of high-quality flexible and shock-absorbing layers for the best pressure distribution. The panels are made of synthetic wool and the saddle has a wide channel for spine freedom. The Tudor Icelandic has a beautiful design, which offers the rider a narrow and balanced seat while providing excellent flexibility and back freedom for the horse. The saddle adapts to the horse's anatomy and the rider's posture.
As there is no fixed bar in the saddle, the flexible materials allow the saddle to adapt to the horse's anatomy. Your horse may change shape due to growth or muscle development from freedom of movement and proper training. With replaceable front whistles and the refillable panels, it is easy to adjust the saddle, so that it fits the horse at all times.
EDIX has a different strap system because the two front straps are removable. Saddle adaptation will show which is most appropriate to use on the individual horse. The front girth strap goes directly onto the panels and is a stabilizing girth strap designed to provide a stable saddle position. The third Y-belt strap suspension gives the saddle greater strength, durability and improves the distribution of the front and back of the saddle and increases comfort and stability.
The position of the EDIX® Tudor Icelandic stirrup strap is centered, which ensures that the rider is positioned centrally in the saddle. This is to support correct posture and help reduce pressure on the knees. The saddle can be adjusted perfectly for the rider's own comfort by choosing the preferred knee pad; short, low, high or the large knee pad. A discreet velcro pocket allows you to put the knee support in the perfect position.
